Sebastian Sorensson PokerStars Barcelona Winner 2017

PokerStars Championship Barcelona Winner Challenges Doug Polk

“If you want to play heads-up, holler at me,” says new tournament millionaire.

Semi-professional poker player Sebastian Sorensson outlasted a competitive field of 1,682 entrants to win the PokerStars Championship Barcelona Main Event over the weekend for €987,043 (nearly $1.2 million USD). The 27-year old qualified online in a €215 satellite event on the world’s largest poker site and was participating in only his second live poker tournament, as told by CardPlayer.com contributor Eirk Fast.

Upon capturing the PSC Barcelona Main Event title, Sorensson referenced Doug Polk — Upswing Poker’s heads-up No Limit Hold’em specialist and 2017 WSOP High Roller for One Drop winner — in his exit interview with on-air talent Joe Stapleton, communicating his desire to take on the Twitch and YouTube live stream poker tournament record holder in a heads-up duel.

“If you want to play heads-up, holler at me,” the victorious Scandinavian exuded cheerfully with mic-in-hand. The challenge was posted on social media site Twitter and later replied to by the YouTube Poker personality.

In related news, Upswing Poker Lab coach Parker Talbot put in a solid performance in the €10,300 buy-in PSC Barcelona High Roller event and took home €63,750 for his deep-run 13th Place finish.

Kid Poker Warns Meat-Lovers, Cuts Promo on POTUS

The excitement of Saturday’s Las Vegas “bout” between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor apparently had both Doug and Team PokerStars ambassador Daniel Negreanu ready to conduct social media combat the next day — with the high profile celebs taking to Twitter to debate the GTO daily protein allowance for their followers.

The disagreement carried over into Sunday afternoon with the all-time live poker tournament money leader suggesting that the vast majority of human heart disease is linked to the consumption of animal-based protein.

Unfortunately for United States President Donald Trump, Negreanu had adequately sharpened his claws by the time Monday morning rolled around. A would-be acknowledgement of Gulf Coast residents affected by Hurricane Harvey got blasted away by “Kid Poker” — who could not have been more offended if someone served him braised beef shank marrow alongside a mushroom burger.

https://twitter.com/RealKidPoker/status/902071964562534400 Will PSC Barcelona champion Sorennson make good on his challenge to three-time WSOP bracelet winner Doug Polk to meet heads-up for a real money showdown? Can meat-lovers last longer if we cease our allegedly egregious eating habits?
