Doug Polk Sets New Twitch Poker MTT Record with $455,000 WCOOP Cash

Upswing Poker featured pro Doug Polk made history Monday by breaking his own record for largest Twitch Poker MTT score with a $455,000 runner-up performance in the $10,300 buy-in WCOOP High Roller.

More than 23,000 viewers tuned-in during the live cast final table — placing the DougPolkPoker Twitch Channel at #2 overall on Twitch and elevating “Poker” to the #5 most-popular game being live streamed.

Doug negotiated a three-way final table deal with fellow high stakes players Grindation and €urop€an as subscribers offered their congratulatory remarks in the Twitch live chat.

With the chop agreed upon, an additional $72,200 was set aside for the official winner of the High Roller event. The two-time WSOP bracelet winner nearly overcame a 6-to-1 heads-up chip deficit, but was forced to settle for 2nd place when his Ace-King did not improve versus Queens in a classic All-In Preflop race.
