Doug Polk to Host King of The Hill “Podcast Week”

Poker superstars engage with viewers ahead of Poker Night showcase event.

DPYourCommunity.org founder and 2017 WSOP High Roller for One Drop champion Doug Polk returns to The Upswing Office this week to embrace his new temp role as Director of Poker Communications with four YouTube live streams that preview what could be an epic Poker Night heads-up telecast, live from Rivers Casino Schenectady in New York.

The inaugural Poker Night in America King of The Hill contest begins in two weeks’ time, as high stakes players Doug Polk, Phil Hellmuth, Dan Cates and Frank Kassela prepare to compete for $200,000 USD cash, a championship belt, and perhaps a place in modern-day poker history.

Poker live stream star Parker ‘tonkaaaaP’ Talbot will appear on the DougPolkPoker YouTube channel in less than 12 hours. The TeamNeverLucky member from Canada has been an ambassador for the 888 Poker brand since January and will join the channel to talk about the poker site which prominently appears on all PNIA telecasts, the upcoming King of The Hill matches, as well as discuss current events in the poker industry.

Talbot, who has achieved success in poker since picking up the game as a teenager, has been an integral part in growing YouTube Poker in 2017. His channel focuses on real money Multi-Table Tournament (MTT) final table feats while also providing viewers with insight into Virtual Reality Poker offerings on the Oculus Rift.

Tuesday afternoon, 14-time WSOP bracelet winner and 1989 Main Event champion Phil Hellmuth returns to the channel, followed by a Wednesday segment featuring Dan ‘Jungleman’ Cates with Frank Kassela making a guest appearance Thursday at 4:00pm Pacific Time.
